Dear all, the GC papers will be moved to the main proceedings, I am citing an email that I just received and will follow up as soon as I have further details:

Dear Grand Challenges Chairs (Hanwang and Si), Tutorial Chairs (Jungong, Jingjing, and Roland), and Industry Chair (Jianquan),

To have the proceeding ready before the conference, we previously decided to have your track of the programs included in the companion proceedings instead of the main conference proceedings because of time constraints.

However, we recently received multiple requests from individual organizers asking to include their program in the main proceedings instead of the companion one. Their justifications are mainly about reputations, the possible effect on the sponsorship, and the arrangement in the past MM conferences. We think these justifications are valid. Thus, we would like to extend the main proceeding camera-ready deadline to Aug 22, 2024.

If you want to have your track program to be included in the main proceedings, please inform individual organizers in your track ASAP. They will have to meet the deadline of Aug 22 for the main conference proceedings. Do note that this is the deadline for the entire track. For example, if 1 out of 10 Grand Challenges cannot meet the deadline, we might have to put all the Grand Challenge programs in the Companion Proceedings.
