Important update for engagement task

Dear MultiMediate participants, in the following, we are communicating important updates concerning the Cross-cultural Multi-domain Engagement Estimation task. The other tasks are not affected. Unfortunately, we had to realise that the data for the engagement task had several issues. (1) Pre-computed features were not properly synchronised with the videos for the NoXI datasets (NoXI, NoXI-J, NoXI additional languages) (2) The metadata (e.g language) was incorrect in some cases. (3) On the MPIIGroupInteraction, one video was missing in the test set download. We have corrected the data and updated all downloads. So, if you work on the engagement task, please re-download the files. We made one further change: To make it easier to compute separate performance scores for NoXI and NoXI-J, we separated these two datasets into individual folder. In this way, your implementation can be harmonised with last year. Please let us know in case of any further questions! Updates on baselines

Dear challenge participants, we updated the (outdated) information on the official challenge baselines under https://multimediate-challenge.org/Description/ We have provided links to baselines for each of the task. Please not that the baseline for this year’s Cross-cultural Multi-domain Engagement Estimation Task is not complete yet, so we provide the link to the baseline for last year, which was similar (but did not include NoXI-J). We will provide an updated baseline which includes evaluation on NoXI-J in the coming weeks.
